August Greetings

Hi Church,

What a wonderful season we’re sharing together! I have been really moved and led over and over to prayer as we opened our teaching series on Partners this Sunday gone. Together we’ll discover what it means to live open-handedly as faithful stewards, partnering with God and one another as we invest our time, gifts, prayers, and resources into His Kingdom. Generosity is not funding the vision. Generosity is the vision.

IIf you were out of town, out of action and unable to join us, dont forget our Podcast is a great way to hear the word throughout the week. I would encourage you listen this week. It will go hand in hand with a Stewardship Update Letter from our Board that is set to mail in a few days. If you have not already updated your postal address, drop us a line.

Throughout August, we’ll be gathering together in one location each Sunday as part of this series. It’s a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our shared vision, celebrate what God is doing among us, and grow together as one church family. And don’t forget to mark Sunday 23rd August in your diary—we’ll be sharing a Curry Lunch after the service. We’d love you to stay, enjoy a meal together, and connect with our church family.

Finally, it was such a joy to celebrate Compassion Sunday and see our church family respond so generously. Together we’ve now sponsored 88 children through Compassion, with 7 new children welcomed into Christ-centred care. What a beautiful reminder that together we can make an eternal difference. A special thank you also to everyone who contributed to our Bring a Bake Sunday—you certainly didn’t disappoint!

Prayer

Fulfilment of Building Fund Pledges – As we approach August 

On behalf of the C3 Monash Board and leadership team we thank you for your Aug 2025- Aug 2026 pledge and continued giving toward our Building Fund. Our Building Fund giving enables us to continue with the needs of our facility, including its improvement, maintenance, refreshing, and servicing the remaining mortgage on the building.

Thank you for taking the time to prayerfully consider completing your Building Fund pledge as we draw closer to August. We are deeply grateful for your willingness to partner with us in the mission and future of C3 Monash. Your financial commitment serves our mission of becoming and making disciples, as we become people connected to Jesus and His community, growing to be more like Him, and reaching others with His love.

Sunday Kids

Happy Holidays! What an amazing term we are having in GroKids, including the opening of our Junior GroKids room and learning how to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

We run our GroKids Junior (ages 2 -5) and GroKids Primary (grades K-6) during the service on Gathered Sundays of the school term. During this 45-minute session kids play, pray and learn creatively from God’s word. 

Friday Youth

Our Youth Team are passionate about helping young people make good friends, good choices and grow to know a good God who has created them with a purpose for their life. Friday nights are full of fun and connection!

Youth gather Friday nights Week 2-10 of school terms from 6:30-8:30pm.

C3 Cares – Pantry & Midweek Service   

C3 Cares Service gathers at 1030am on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month for morning tea, fellowship along with worship and communion. On the fourth Thursday of each month we also offer pantry item pick up for those in need. We look forward to continuing to share these meaningful moments together as we serve and connect with our community.

Home Church

Midweek Playtime

9:30am-11:30am Wednesday mornings during ACT school terms. It’s the perfect opportunity to play, create and have some fun with your bubs to pre-school aged children, while connecting over a cuppa with other parents, grandparents and carers.

Connect Group

Our groups keep us connected to Jesus and His community by helping people to build relationships and centralise fellowship around our joint relationship with Jesus, creating community where new and existing congregation members can be known and cared for. They cause us to grow to be more like Jesus, through communal discipleship, providing a space for people to share, ask questions and grow in their spiritual formation. They provide regular spaces to pray with one another and encourage each other in how we are reaching others with God’s love.

Young Adults

Young Adults from our high school graduates through to ~mid twenties gather regularly for Home Church, Connect Groups and events including monthly Sunday Lunch hangs. 

The Young Adults of C3 Monash also make for a vibrant addition to our volunteer team.
