December Greetings
As we continue this Advent season, our hearts are already stirred from the beautiful four Fridays of prayer and fasting we’ve just shared. God is (always) faithful, and we have much to give thanks for as we move toward Christmas.
We’d love for you to collect your Advent Bag. Each one includes four candles and a link to daily Lectio 365 devotionals—journeying through a poetic introduction to Jesus and ancient songs that reflect on His character. Whether you use them personally, with your family, or in community, we pray these rhythms help you slow down, make space, and welcome His presence afresh. Why not call up a friend or ask someone in your household to consider doing this with you each day leading into Christmas. You may just be surprised who says – ok!
There’s so much joy ahead. We have our final Praise & Prayer Night (with dessert!), Christmas invitations to share, and celebrations for our Cares community and young people with the Youth Formal. We hope you’ll take a moment to read what’s coming up and join us in praying and preparing room for Jesus in every way.

Current Teaching Series
This Advent, we’re entering a season of anticipation—making space for the arrival of Jesus. Over four weeks, we’ll reflect on hope, peace, joy, and love as we remember that Christ has come and will come again. As we continue this journey, our prayer is that we grow in longing for Him and in awareness of His presence shaping our lives today!
Prayer
As the practice that brings us regularly into fellowship with God and deepens our unity with each other, our prayer with each other is powerful in shaping us as a community. Join us as we open our building for regular times of morning prayer.
Weekly Sunday mornings
Pre service Gathered 9:15am – 9:30am
Monthly first Wednesday evening
7-8pm onsite
Sunday Kids
We run our GroKids program for primary-aged children during the service on Gathered Sundays of the school term. During this 45-minute session kids play, pray and learn creatively from God’s word
We have prepared a space at the back of the auditorium with lounges for parents/caregivers and some table activities, books and toys for your little ones (0-Pre-School) to use.
Friday Youth
Our Youth Team are passionate about helping young people make good friends, good choices and grow to know a good God who has created them with a purpose for their life. Friday nights are full of fun and connection!
This term we will be engaging in the Youth Alpha course together – a fantastic opportunity to learn, ask questions & deepen their faith. Please remind your youth to bring their bibles and note pads each week.

Get ready—our Youth Formal is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate an unforgettable night with our teens!
Home Church
Every 4th Sunday of the month, we gather at homes across Canberra. A chance to deepen connection; sharing in morning tea or lunch while enjoying our online church service.
We also run a home church experience on these weeks at our 184 Clive Street Ave location at 10:00 am. Find a Home Church here or reach out via the office.

Fortnightly Friday C3 Cares
C3 Cares provides free community morning tea, connection, and pantry item support on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month during the school term. Held in our church foyer, all are welcome. Feel free to contact the office for more information.
Friday 12th December Christmas Luncheon and Pantry Item Collection. RSVP before 4th Nov.
Midweek Playtime
9:30am-11:30am Wednesday mornings during ACT school terms. It’s the perfect opportunity to play, create and have some fun with your bubs to pre-school aged children, while connecting over a cuppa with other parents, grandparents and carers.

Connect Group
Our groups keep us connected to Jesus and His community by helping people to build relationships and centralise fellowship around our joint relationship with Jesus, creating community where new and existing congregation members can be known and cared for. They cause us to grow to be more like Jesus, through communal discipleship, providing a space for people to share, ask questions and grow in their spiritual formation. They provide regular spaces to pray with one another and encourage each other in how we are reaching others with God’s love.

Young Adults
Young Adults from our high school graduates through to ~mid twenties gather regularly for Home Church, Connect Groups and events.
The Young Adults of C3 Monash also make for a vibrant addition to our volunteer team.
