June Greetings
Hi Church
As we move into June and the change of season, we find ourselves reflecting with gratitude on all that God has been doing among us. Over recent weeks we’ve celebrated baptisms, launched new initiatives for our young people, welcomed families into newly renovated spaces, gathered in prayer, and continued to see people step into community, service, and discipleship.
This month also marks the conclusion of our Breath and Fire series. As we’ve explored the renewing work of the Holy Spirit, our prayer has been that weary hearts would be refreshed, faith rekindled, and lives surrendered afresh to God’s transforming presence. We trust many of you have experienced God’s encouragement and renewal through this journey.
On June 14, we begin a new series, Psalms and the Soul –Ancient Prayers for Wandering Hearts. Looking to the prayers and songs of God’s people, we’ll discover afresh God’s invitation to return to Him. The Psalms teach us how to bring our joys, disappointments, failures, fears, and hopes honestly before God. Through honest prayers of confession, trust, lament and praise, we learn that repentance is about returning to the Father who already loves us.
As always, thank you for your generosity, service, prayers, and Christ like love for one another. Together we are building a community that seeks Jesus, loves one another, and reaches beyond ourselves with the hope of the gospel.
We look forward to sharing the chillier months with you.
With love,
With love,
Ps James & Tam

Coming Teaching Series
The Psalms and the Soul – Ancient Prayers for Wandering Hearts.
Life has a way of drawing us in many directions. We drift, we become distracted, we carry wounds, regrets, fears and burdens that weigh heavily on the soul. Yet throughout the Psalms we discover a God who continually invites His people back to Himself. Through honest prayers of confession, trust, lament and praise, we learn that repentance is about returning to the Father who already loves us.
As we journey through these ancient prayers, we will discover practical and life-giving rhythms that help us remember who God is, remember who we are in Christ, honestly bring our failures before Him, and walk again in the freedom, joy and transformation He desires for us.

As the practice that brings us regularly into fellowship with God and deepens our unity with each other, our prayer with each other is powerful in shaping us as a community. Join us as we open our building for regular times of morning prayer.

Fulfilment of Building Fund Pledges – As we approach August
On behalf of the C3 Monash Board and leadership team we thank you for your Aug 2025- Aug 2026 pledge and continued giving toward our Building Fund. Our Building Fund giving enables us to continue with the needs of our facility, including its improvement, maintenance, refreshing, and servicing the remaining mortgage on the building.
Thank you for taking the time to prayerfully consider completing your Building Fund pledge as we draw closer to August. We are deeply grateful for your willingness to partner with us in the mission and future of C3 Monash. Your financial commitment serves our mission of becoming and making disciples, as we become people connected to Jesus and His community, growing to be more like Him, and reaching others with His love.
Sunday Kids
We run our GroKids Junior (ages 2 -5) and GroKids Primary (grades K-6) during the service on Gathered Sundays of the school term. During this 45-minute session kids play, pray and learn creatively from God’s word.
We loved celebrating the opening of the new commons space last Sunday! Particularly the opening of our new Junior GroKids room – If you have a child aged 2–5 and have any questions, please contact Chelsea.
On Sunday the 7th of June our new GroKids sign-in process begins – if parents can please sign their child in before the service. Have a look in your inbox for more information.
In June, we’re continuing with our Love Is Our Weapon program with our primary aged kids. Parents, thank you for encouraging your children as they learn what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus and share His love with others.
Friday Youth
Our Youth Team are passionate about helping young people make good friends, good choices and grow to know a good God who has created them with a purpose for their life. Friday nights are full of fun and connection!
Youth gather Friday nights Week 2-10 of school terms from 6:30-8:30pm.
Youth is building something profound! As they continue the Love Is Our Weapon. focus, encouraging our young people to put compassion into action. Last week, Zac shared a great message on practical love and generosity through our “Clothes for Ya Bros” initiative, and we’re inviting our youth to bring along any clean, good-quality clothing donations they may have this Friday 5th June!
It’s also been a joy to launch our new Youth Services, including Praise, Worship and Preaching! Seeing young people step up, lead, share God’s Word, and use their gifts has been incredibly encouraging. There is something special about watching the next generation grow in confidence and faith as they serve one another and point each other to Jesus.
We’re also heading to Youth Alive Rally on Friday 12th June (6–9pm) at Awaken Church—Book your tickets asap!
Resurrection – Filmed Apologietics Series
The Resurrection Apologetics Series that we shared live as part of our Easter Series, is soon to being filmed and is on track to be available in July. People are still talking about how helpful the series was in exploring the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus and gaining confidence in the historical foundations of the Christian faith. The conversations it sparked have been encouraging, and we’re excited to make this resource available so that more people can engage with the questions, evidence, and hope at the heart of the gospel. Stay tuned!
C3 Cares – Pantry & Midweek Service
C3 Cares Service gathers at 1030am on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month for morning tea, fellowship along with worship and communion. We also run a home church experience on these weeks at our 184 Clive Street Ave location at 10:00 am. Find a Home Church here or reach out via the office.

Connect Group
Our groups keep us connected to Jesus and His community by helping people to build relationships and centralise fellowship around our joint relationship with Jesus, creating community where new and existing congregation members can be known and cared for. They cause us to grow to be more like Jesus, through communal discipleship, providing a space for people to share, ask questions and grow in their spiritual formation. They provide regular spaces to pray with one another and encourage each other in how we are reaching others with God’s love.
Find our more about our midweek connect groups.
Young Adults
Young Adults from our high school graduates through to ~mid twenties gather regularly for Home Church, Connect Groups and events including monthly Sunday Lunch hangs.
The Young Adults of C3 Monash also make for a vibrant addition to our volunteer team.
